Visita bench marking de la delegación del departamento de salud de Murang'a a España

This was an organized trip to visit Spain for the purpose of bench marking of health care services and to see how the County can further collaborate with public hospitals in Spain, NGOs and private companies as well as with the Spanish Government.

The host was Vihda Association whose Chief executive officer is Dr. Victorio Torres, who was driving the Kenyan delegation throughout the trip. This organization has been in Kenya since 2003 where they came in to support HIV program. In full collaboration with Maragua Hospital, the public institution was able to initiate the first HIV Program in Kenya providing free services and ARV medications supplied by KEMSA. Currently the program has supported over 8000 of people living with HIV.
